The Guest Services Representative (GSR) position is focused on delivering exceptional service to guests, ensuring their needs are met during their stay. This role involves managing guest check-ins and check-outs, handling reservations, and maintaining a clean and organized front office area. The GSR is empowered to resolve guest issues and must adhere to company policies and safety standards while promoting a positive guest experience.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate and promote a 100% commitment to providing the best possible experience for guests.
• Assist guests at all times and respond to requests with diligent follow-through.
• Process reservations, registration, payment, and departures according to company guidelines.
• Handle collection efforts of all in-house balances and account for cash, checks, credit cards, and city ledger accounts.
• Set up, maintain, and take down breakfast when required, ensuring cleanliness behind the front desk and in common areas.
• Sell the value of ESA to inquiries and strive to convert them into reservations.
• Collect relevant guest information and identify potential sales leads.
• Conduct periodic tours of the property to ensure brand standards are met.
• Assist and provide reasonable accommodations in response to guest requests.
• Maintain overall hotel cleanliness and assist with cleaning areas as assigned.

Requirements

• Ability to understand and communicate in English proficiently.
• Proficient in operating property management system technology.
• Ability to follow safety rules and procedure manuals.
• Capable of completing routine reports and correspondence.
• Basic math skills for handling transactions and reports.
• Good judgment in addressing and solving guest-related issues.
