About the position

The Guest Services Representative at Black Mesa Casino plays a crucial role in ensuring a positive experience for guests by providing prompt and accurate communication. This position involves greeting guests, addressing their needs, processing applications, and managing various customer service tasks within the casino environment.

Responsibilities

  • Greet every customer entering the casino.
  • Resolve customer problems or issues promptly.
  • Respond to information queries for internal and external customers.
  • Distribute and redeem Black Mesa Casino coupons.
  • Explain promotion rules and procedures to customers.
  • Process Players' Club applications and issue membership cards.
  • Rent RV spaces and collect rental fees.
  • Collect Showroom rental fees.
  • Promote Players' Club and upcoming events on the casino floor.
  • Create routine reports such as coupon redemption and cash received reports.
  • Assist with promotional activities and events.
  • Attend and complete all assigned training.
  • Maintain a professional appearance and hygiene.
  • Help maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  • Comply with company and departmental procedural guidelines and safety procedures.
  • Report suspicious persons or activities.
  • Provide a detail-oriented and prompt work product.
  • Meet attendance guidelines of the job.
  • Maintain discretion and confidentiality in assignments.
  • Communicate effectively with all departments within the casino.
  • Maintain compliance with regulatory and governmental requirements.
  • Contribute to a team-oriented, continuous improvement process.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 2 years related experience and/or training in customer service.
  • Ability to type 23 words per minute.
  • Must possess Class III Gaming License.
  • Ability to read and interpret safety rules and write routine reports.
  • Basic mathematical skills and ability to apply mathematical concepts.
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, and draw valid conclusions.
  • Proficient in Word, Excel, Internet, and CRM software.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in a casino or hospitality environment.
  • Bilingual skills to communicate with a diverse customer base.
