The Guest Services Representative at Schulte Hospitality Group plays a crucial role in delivering exceptional hospitality experiences to guests. This position focuses on personal recognition, ensuring guests feel welcomed and valued from the moment they arrive. The representative is responsible for various front desk operations, including check-ins, handling inquiries, and maintaining a clean and organized front desk area. The role emphasizes a service-oriented approach, aligning with the company's mission to prioritize the needs of both internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Greets guests as they arrive, focusing on personal recognition.
• Reviews arrival lists daily and assists in preparing and assembling welcome amenities.
• Escorts VIPs to their rooms and checks them in prior to arrival.
• Answers the telephone within three rings and addresses questions or transfers calls as needed.
• Responsible for managing the issued bank, counting it at the beginning and end of shifts.
• Ensures all cash drops are done according to proper cash handling procedures and reports any cash overages or shortages to management.
• Keeps the front desk area clean and organized, assisting with lobby activation as needed.
• Utilizes proper procedures when handling guest PPI data.
• Follows a checklist during guest check-in and check-out processes.
• Retrieves necessary identification documents and forms of payment upon guest arrival.
• Attends promptly to guest needs and inquiries.
• Performs various other duties as assigned to meet business objectives.

Requirements

• Minimum of one (1) year in Front Desk Operations.
• In-depth knowledge of hotel Front Desk operations.
• Minimum of High School education.
• Basic computer skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
• Ability to exceed expectations of guests and team members.
• Excellent time management skills.
