About the position

The Guest Services Specialist at Columbia Woodlands LLC is responsible for maintaining high standards of guest satisfaction by assisting guests with check-in and check-out processes, delivering meals and beverages, and performing property checks. This role requires excellent customer service skills and coordination with various staff members to ensure an exceptional guest experience throughout their stay.

Responsibilities

• Assist guests with checking in and out of the property.
• Deliver meals and beverages to guests.
• Perform property checks to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Coordinate with housekeeping, grounds, kitchen, and office staff.
• Engage in professional and friendly communications with guests and coworkers.
• Assist guests with bookings and provide information about the resort, menus, and activities.
• Record orders and input them into the POS system.
• Review service requests and special requests for arrivals.
• Prepare check-in folders and necessary items for the week's arrivals.
• Respond to telephone, e-mail, and in-person inquiries from clients and business partners.
• Up-sell packages, food offerings, and events to guests.
• Perform other duties as requested by management.

Requirements

• 2 plus years of hospitality experience or related experience preferred.
• Excellent customer relationship skills.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Computer proficiency and ability to use POS systems.
• Time management skills.
