About The Position

The Guest Services Team Member position is a seasonal, non-exempt role within the Guest Services department. Team members will be considered for various positions in Admissions, Retail, or Rides, and may have opportunities to train in multiple areas based on the needs of the organization and supervisor discretion. The primary goal of this role is to ensure a memorable experience for all Zoo & Aquarium visitors by providing superior customer service and making all guests feel welcome. Responsibilities include responding to guest inquiries, promoting events, and assisting with maintaining the cleanliness of the Zoo & Aquarium.

Requirements

• Must be 15 years of age or older.
• Experience in a customer service role is welcomed.
• Ability to interact with all types of people professionally and effectively.
• Must be able to perform essential functions of the position satisfactorily.
• Must pass background and drug screening.

Nice To Haves

• Valid driver's license required for some positions.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, holidays, and evening hours.

Responsibilities

• Ensure a memorable experience for all Zoo & Aquarium visitors by providing superior customer service.
• Respond to guest inquiries and promote Zoo & Aquarium events.
• Assist other departments to provide a seamless guest experience.
• Maintain the general cleanliness of the Zoo & Aquarium.
• Work in Admissions, Retail, or Rides areas as assigned.
