About the position

The Pickle Guild is looking for a Guest Services Associate to provide exceptional customer service and create a welcoming atmosphere for members and guests at their indoor pickleball club. This part-time role involves managing memberships, court reservations, and payment processing while ensuring a clean and organized front desk area.

Responsibilities

• Greet members and guests with a warm and friendly attitude.
• Assist with inquiries, provide information about club services, and address member needs.
• Process new membership applications and renewals.
• Maintain accurate membership records and update information as needed.
• Manage court reservation system and assist members with booking courts.
• Ensure smooth transitions between court sessions and resolve any scheduling conflicts.
• Handle cash and electronic payments for court reservations, memberships, and merchandise.
• Keep accurate records of transactions and provide receipts as needed.
• Monitor the Front Desk area and ensure it remains clean and organized.
• Report any maintenance issues to the appropriate department.
• Effectively communicate club policies, events, and promotions to members.
• Respond promptly to emails, phone calls, and in-person inquiries.

Requirements

• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with reservation systems.
• Enthusiasm for pickleball and a willingness to learn more about the sport.
• Previous experience in a customer-facing role is a plus.
