About The Position
We are seeking a dedicated individual to join our team at the aquarium in a vital role focused on guest services. This position is essential for ensuring that every guest has a memorable and enjoyable experience. The successful candidate will be responsible for promoting memberships and token sales while providing comprehensive knowledge about our facility and its various encounters. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in customer service, guest relations, or sales, with at least one year of relevant experience. We value individuals who have demonstrated exemplary customer service and sales performance in previous roles, showcasing strong leadership abilities and excellent communication skills, both oral and written. In this role, you will be expected to greet guests warmly and check them in using effective selling techniques to upsell tokens or memberships. Responding promptly to guest requests or complaints is crucial, and you will need to take appropriate actions to ensure 100% guest satisfaction, including involving management when necessary. Reliability and punctuality are essential, as is maintaining a professional image through your appearance and demeanor. You will also be responsible for restocking items in various departments, interacting with guests to provide product knowledge, and upselling products or services effectively. The position requires flexibility, as you will need to work weekends and holidays as needed. You will also be involved in various tasks, including working in concessions, guest admissions, and the gift shop, while ensuring that your work area remains clean and organized. Morning opening duties and nightly cleaning/closing duties will also be part of your responsibilities. This role is perfect for someone who is energetic, friendly, and eager to contribute to a positive guest experience at our aquarium.
