About the position

The Technical Program Manager for Guidewire (GW/Talon) is responsible for overseeing and managing technical projects within the Guidewire platform, ensuring successful implementation and delivery of solutions. This role requires a blend of technical expertise and project management skills, with a focus on providing innovative solutions to complex problems in the insurance domain.

Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee technical projects related to the Guidewire platform.
• Provide and implement technical solutions to complex problems.
• Refine requirements and ensure alignment with project goals.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time and within scope.
• Utilize Agile methodologies to manage project workflows and deliverables.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders and team members.

Requirements

• Minimum 9-12 years of experience in relevant technologies.
• Proven experience in Java and Java EE platforms.
• Strong knowledge of Spring, Springboot, and other J2EE frameworks.
• Hands-on experience with REST, React.js, Redux, Openshift, Kubernetes, and Docker.
• Experience in planning and project management.
• Good understanding of compliance and regulatory requirements for Guidewire product onboarding.
• Experience in the insurance domain and familiarity with Guidewire suites.
• Excellent communication skills and experience in onsite-offshore project management.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with public cloud services.
• Working knowledge of JQuery, Ajax, JSON, CSS, and HTML.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
