About the position
The Cashier Host position at Guy Fieri's Restaurant and Bar involves providing exceptional service to guests in a fast-paced environment. The role focuses on greeting guests, managing seating arrangements, maintaining cleanliness, and assisting wait staff, all while ensuring a welcoming atmosphere that reflects the standards of Caesars Entertainment.
Responsibilities
- Greets and welcomes each guest entering the restaurant.
- Seats guests according to specified rotation requirements and monitors table availability.
- Maintains cleanliness of the dining room and cashiering area in accordance with health and safety standards.
- Recognizes VIP players and communicates their presence to the server and other team members.
- Assists wait staff and bus persons with their duties, including refilling drinks and pre-bussing tables.
- Completes all assigned closing duties at the end of the shift.
- Maintains confidentiality of sensitive information at all times.
- Presents oneself in a polished and professional manner, encouraging others to do the same.
- Supports safety and accident prevention programs.
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Good oral and written communication skills, fluent and literate in English.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and organizational ability.
- Ability to respond calmly in stressful situations with co-workers and guests.
- Physically mobile with reasonable accommodation, able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to push or pull 50 lbs. as required for seating arrangements.
- Ability to reach above and below the shoulder, grip small items, bend, stoop, and twist while carrying restaurant stock.
