About the position

As a Senior Payroll Specialist with a focus on internal payroll for associates based in France, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the timely and accurate processing of payroll. Your responsibilities will include reviewing and processing payroll records for current employees, new hires, terminations, leaves of absence, wage changes, and transfers. You will be tasked with ensuring that all payroll, accounting, and auxiliary system requirements are met, which includes handling tax filings, banking requirements, wage garnishments, and maintaining accurate records for benefits, stock, and pensions. In this role, you will follow established service level agreements and deadlines for payroll processing, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and accurately. You will also be responsible for running appropriate reports, analyzing data, and determining necessary corrective actions to address any discrepancies. Effectively applying client payroll policies and procedures will be essential, as will maintaining the payroll system and documentation to ensure everything is up-to-date and accurate. Additionally, you will serve as the primary point of contact for your client's payroll, accounting, and human resources departments, facilitating communication and resolving any issues that may arise. This position requires a strong understanding of payroll processes and the ability to work collaboratively in a friendly international environment.

Responsibilities

  • Reviewing and processing associates payroll records including current employees, new hires, terminations, leaves of absence, wage changes, and transfers.
  • Ensuring compliance with payroll, accounting, and auxiliary system requirements such as tax filings, banking requirements, wage garnishments, and benefits record keeping.
  • Following established service level agreements and deadlines for payroll processing.
  • Running appropriate reports, analyzing data, and determining necessary corrective actions.
  • Effectively applying client payroll policies and procedures.
  • Maintaining payroll system and documentation to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
  • Serving as the point of contact for the client's payroll, accounting, and human resources departments.

Requirements

  • Fluency in French and English (B2 level).
  • Background in Payroll, Accounting, Economics, or experience with SAP systems.
