About The Position
Join us at our upcoming Gwinnett County Police Officer Hiring Event on Saturday, March 22, 2025, from 8:00 am to 3:00 pm at the Gwinnett County Police Training Center. This event offers a unique opportunity to complete the first phase of the two-phase hiring process, where conditional job offers may be given. Attendees will undergo a physical ability test, orientation, detailed application, and an oral interview. The entire process typically takes two to three hours, and it is recommended to bring water and a snack as part of the event will occur outside. Prior to attending, applicants must submit an application and will be contacted to set up an appointment. While those without appointments are welcome, they may experience longer wait times. Applicants must pass a series of tests and interviews before selection, and once selected, they must complete academy requirements and field training with veteran officers. A pre-employment drug test and random drug and alcohol testing are also required.
