The Maintenance Technician (MT) at VASA Fitness plays a crucial role in ensuring the functionality and safety of fitness equipment and facilities. This position is essential for maintaining a welcoming and effective workout environment for members, contributing to the overall mission of creating an uplifting fitness experience.
Responsibilities
- Maintaining cardio, weight, and general workout equipment.
- Performing facilities maintenance tasks.
- Assembling new equipment as needed.
- Painting and refurbishing equipment.
- Conducting wall patching and painting.
Requirements
- Ability to perform maintenance and repairs on fitness equipment.
- Experience in facilities maintenance.
- Basic knowledge of painting and refurbishing techniques.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Nice-to-haves
- Previous experience in a fitness or gym environment.
- Familiarity with various types of fitness equipment.
