The Advanced Cook position at Vail Resorts offers an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic culinary environment within one of the world's premier ski resorts. This role is designed for individuals with significant culinary experience who are eager to enhance their skills while contributing to a memorable guest experience. The position involves preparing complex menu items, developing new recipes, and providing guidance to junior staff, all while embracing the company's core values of service and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Make connections with guests and co-workers
• Share our passion for the mountains during service
• Follow the leadership's guidelines as outlined during the daily pre-shift meeting
• Prepare a range of food items in a fun teamwork-oriented environment
• Maintain clean and tidy workstations throughout and at the end of the work day
• Ski/Snowboard out after work (optional + location dependent)
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of culinary experience
• Desire to learn and grow
• Must be able to communicate fluently in English
• Ability to stand for extended periods of time, to bend, lift and carry objects up to 40lbs
