The HR Generalist III will also play a crucial role in developing staff through mentorship and one-on-one coaching, ensuring that team members are well-equipped to handle their responsibilities. Additionally, the position involves researching and analyzing sensitive and controversial information in response to management requests, providing essential information, and advising employees, supervisors, and managers on human resources policies and procedures through various communication channels. As a primary point of contact and liaison for human resources-related matters, the HR Generalist III will consult and coordinate with department management and governmental agencies to ensure compliance with state and federal laws and regulations. This includes keeping abreast of applicable rules, regulations, policies, and procedures, and providing guidance to management on sensitive issues such as substance abuse, employee discipline, violence prevention, and reasonable accommodations under the Americans with Disabilities Act. The role also involves responding to inquiries and complaints regarding human resources policies and procedures, and performing other job responsibilities as assigned.
