Responsibilities

• Perform various braiding techniques such as box braids, cornrows, twists, and other intricate styles
• Consult with clients to determine their desired hairstyle and provide recommendations based on their hair type and preferences
• Cleanse, condition, and prep clients' hair before braiding
• Use professional tools and products to achieve high-quality results
• Ensure client satisfaction by actively listening to their needs and addressing any concerns
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Keep up-to-date with the latest hair braiding trends and techniques
• Provide exceptional customer service to all clients

Requirements

• Proficiency in hair braiding techniques, including box braids, cornrows, twists, etc.
• Strong knowledge of hair care products and tools used in the braiding process
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients
• Attention to detail and ability to create precise and neat braids
• Knowledge of salon software systems such as MINDBODY for scheduling appointments and managing client information
• Basic knowledge of cosmetology principles and practices
