About the position

The Hair Stylist Intern position at Great Clips is designed for cosmetology or barber students who are within 90 days of graduating. This role provides an opportunity to gain practical salon experience while earning an income. Interns will work in a locally owned salon, learning from experienced stylists and developing essential skills in a supportive environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist in providing hair cutting, styling, and other salon services to clients.
• Learn and apply advanced techniques in cutting and customer service under the guidance of experienced stylists.
• Participate in training sessions to enhance product knowledge and salon operations.
• Build relationships with clients and team members to create a positive salon experience.

Requirements

• Must be a cosmetology or barber student within 90 days of graduation.
• Willingness to learn and develop skills in a fast-paced salon environment.
• Ability to work flexible schedules, including weekends.
