About the position

The Hair Stylist position at Rancho Valencia Resort involves providing professional hair styling services to members and guests, ensuring high-quality service and adherence to all protocols. The role requires maintaining cleanliness and organization in the workspace while actively participating in community service and sustainability initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Perform all hair services including color services, haircuts, blow-dry's, hot tools styling, and updos.
• Maintain a clean workspace and stay updated on all State Board regulations.
• Maintain all implements for performing blow-dry's and styling.
• Sterilize all implements after every use.
• Clean work area after each guest.
• Clean and restock at the end of the shift.
• Maintain current required California State Licensing.
• Report any equipment malfunctions to Lead Stylist.
• Actively participate in safety programs and comply with injury reporting and safety behavior requirements.
• Support the hotel's efforts towards community service, sustainability, and environmental initiatives.
• Perform other duties as directed, developed, or assigned.

Requirements

• Current State Board License
• 3 years' experience
• Ability to communicate in English with vendors, guests, and staff
• Available to work weekends and holidays
