About the position
The Shiseido Hajimari Summer Internship program offers a paid, full-time, 9-week experience for enthusiastic interns at one of the world's leading beauty companies. Interns will gain hands-on exposure to the full product life-cycle, from Marketing to Manufacturing, while working on impactful projects and participating in professional development workshops. This internship is based in New Jersey and New York, providing opportunities for networking and learning within the beauty industry.
Responsibilities
- Lead competitive analysis on key makeup or skincare competitors by providing a landscape overview of paid media activity, competitive assets, and overall presence in the market.
- Create a detailed repository of historical brand campaigns, synthesizing spends and performance data by partner.
- Assist in the development and preparation of comprehensive paid media spend reports.
- Provide ad hoc support on a daily basis for any media initiatives.
- Participate in Agency Briefings, Plan presentations, and Vendor meetings to stay abreast of Brands' media activity.
Requirements
- Must be a rising Junior or Senior in college working towards a bachelor's degree.
- Effective communication skills, attention to detail, and highly organized.
- Experience with Microsoft Excel and Powerpoint.
- Energetic, self-motivated, results oriented.
- Flexible and able to function in a fast-paced, safety-first work environment.
- Have a passion for cosmetics, the beauty industry and keeping up-to-date with industry trends.
