About the position
The Hall Monitor position at Colonial Middle School is a full-time role focused on ensuring student safety and enhancing the educational environment. The Hall Monitor will supervise student movement during the school day, monitor hallways, and check bathrooms, while also ensuring that visitors are properly registered and wearing identification badges.
Responsibilities
- Provide supervision of students during the school day.
- Monitor student movement in hallways, resource areas, and during lunch.
- Check bathrooms for student safety and compliance.
- Ensure visitors have registered at the Main Office and are displaying a visitor's badge.
- Refer students to an administrator for infractions of the Student Handbook.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Experience working with middle school students is preferred.
- Self-motivated with an outgoing personality.
