About the position

Lanoha Nurseries, Inc is seeking a talented Hand Illustrator to join their landscape design team. This part-time role involves creating hand-drawn illustrations that visually communicate landscaping ideas to clients and stakeholders. The position requires a keen eye for detail and a passion for landscape design, contributing significantly to project proposals and client engagement.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the landscape design team to understand project requirements.
• Create high-quality hand-drawn illustrations of landscape designs, including plans, structures, pathways, water features, and other design elements.
• Develop concept sketches, renderings, and presentation visuals to support project proposals.
• Maintain a consistent artistic style that aligns with the company's aesthetic and branding.
• Ensure accurate representation of plant species, colors, and proportions in drawings.
• Adjust illustrations based on feedback from clients or team members.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Hand Illustrator, preferably in landscape or architectural design.
• Strong portfolio showcasing hand-drawn illustrations, sketches, and renderings.
• Knowledge of landscape elements, plant species, and design principles is a plus!
• Excellent attention to detail, creativity, and an understanding of scale and perspective.
• Ability to interpret and visualize design concepts effectively.
• Familiarity with digital tools Adobe Photoshop or Illustrator is a plus!
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively.
