About the position

As a Hands-on Event Planner, you will be responsible for the comprehensive planning and execution of weddings and events from the initial stages through to the final details. Your day-to-day tasks will include requesting proposals and contracts, assembling invitations, ordering decor, creating wedding websites, and organizing supplies for event days. You will detail each wedding or event, which involves sourcing and booking participating vendors, creating the event design, and hosting final detail calls with clients. You will also be responsible for week-of preparations and leading on-site coordination, ensuring that everything is set up according to the planned timeline. On event days, you will be a hands-on coordinator, deeply involved in all aspects of the setup and execution. This includes overseeing the Event Service staff and managing all elements of food and beverage service. You will also manage reports on your event bookings, which includes system setup, client onboarding, contractor assignments, and post-event follow-up. Generating a Profit and Loss statement for each event you oversee will be part of your responsibilities. When not serving as the Lead Planner, you will assist other Event Planners as an Event Coordination Assistant, managing event setup, decor, styling, and vendor interactions. The ideal candidate will possess strong project management skills, be independently motivated, and have a customer-focused mindset.
