The Maintenance Worker position at Residential Management Corporation involves performing a variety of property maintenance tasks for apartments and condominiums in Northern Connecticut and Western Massachusetts. The role requires a skilled individual with a minimum of 5 years of experience in maintenance, carpentry, and customer service. The worker will be responsible for completing work orders at various job sites, primarily outdoors, and must have their own tools and a reliable vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Perform interior/exterior carpentry and repairs
• Conduct interior/exterior painting
• Hang and tape sheetrock
• Remove custodial/trash
• Perform gutter work and cleaning
• Carry out basic masonry/asphalt tasks
• Address leak repairs and minor water mitigation
• Execute siding repairs
• Utilize power washing techniques
• Conduct landscaping repairs and general grounds keeping
• Perform minor snow removal
• Provide other general handyman services as needed

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of maintenance experience
• Proficient in carpentry and residential painting
• Strong customer service skills
• Mechanical knowledge
• Ability to communicate effectively
• Experience in facilities maintenance
• Valid driver's license
• Organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently
• Proficient with basic work tools
