About the position

The Handyman position at The Next Pros LLC involves performing a variety of maintenance and repair tasks in residential, office, and commercial settings. The role does not require specialized skills of licensed tradespeople but focuses on general maintenance and repair work, ensuring facilities are well-maintained and functional.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic repairs to plumbing, including replacing faucets and tightening plumbing under sinks.
• Check for electrical issues and conduct minor HVAC systems work, such as replacing filters.
• Fix drywall, doors, paint, and other building fixtures.
• Perform routine maintenance on building systems and assist with landscape maintenance.
• Install household appliances, smoke and carbon monoxide alarms, shelves, blinds, and window locks.
• Assist with the upkeep of the facility, order supplies, and complete other tasks as assigned.

Requirements

• Familiarity with basic hand and power tools.
• Mechanical aptitude.
• Basic plumbing, electrical, and HVAC knowledge.
• Basic carpentry skills.
• Experience using scheduling apps or routing apps.
