About the position

The Territory Sales Manager at Happy Feet International is responsible for driving sales of Luxury Vinyl Flooring products across the state of Illinois. This role focuses on building and maintaining customer relationships, prospecting new clients, and maximizing profitability within the assigned territory. The position requires frequent travel to meet clients and manage accounts effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Sell Luxury Vinyl Flooring products to specialty retailers and commercial/multifamily end users.
  • Develop new business by prospecting for viable new accounts.
  • Build and maintain relationships with existing customers.
  • Give presentations to educate clients on flooring, installation, and maintenance.
  • Travel throughout the territory to visit customers regularly.
  • Manage multiple accounts simultaneously and maintain records of all sales leads and customer accounts.
  • Represent the brand during all customer and prospect interactions.
  • Monitor industry competitors, new products, and market conditions.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • 2 years of direct sales experience, preferably in flooring sales.
  • 1 year of account management experience.
  • Strong negotiation skills.
  • Valid Driver's License.
  • Excellent customer service and analysis skills.
