The Hardware team is responsible for the entire lifecycle of product development, starting from concept creation to the end of life support. As a Hardware Design Engineer, you will play a crucial role in this process, particularly in system design, factory bring-up, and test/validation cycles. Your primary focus will be on designing future products by selecting the appropriate architecture, conducting electrical design, and performing validation. You will lead the electrical engineering team in developing products that include RF, sensors, and other specialized components. Collaboration with cross-functional teams such as software, product design, industrial design, program management, operations, and finance is essential to ensure the successful delivery of products to market. In this role, you will validate your designs through functional verification, signal characterization, power modeling/testing, and system coexistence testing. You will also be responsible for bringing your designs to mass production by setting factory test requirements and assisting in software bring-up. This may involve traveling on-site to manufacturers to ensure that the designs are built and tested successfully. Additionally, you will work with and manage suppliers and manufacturing partners to establish mutually beneficial relationships for future product designs.
