We are seeking an experienced Computer Hardware Engineer to provide FPGA debug support for firmware development activities in an ASIC prototyping project. This role will also involve some Verilog RTL development as required by the project. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Synopsys HAPS and at least 10 years of debugging experience, along with significant lab work experience. The position is based in either Raleigh, NC or Mountain View, CA and requires onsite work five days a week. The pay range for this position is between $85 and $89 per hour. In this role, you will be responsible for providing FPGA debug support to firmware developers, engaging in Verilog RTL development as needed, and collaborating with a team of engineers to ensure successful project outcomes. You will also contribute to design effort testing and support software developers in debugging efforts on the FPGA prototyping platform. This position requires a strong background in embedded microprocessor systems and proficiency in FPGA design and debugging, along with experience in Verilog, C, and assembly languages. Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work effectively in a team environment are essential for success in this role.
