The individual will not be involved in any design work; instead, the focus will be on understanding the functionality and effectiveness of these devices through detailed analysis. In this role, the candidate will utilize industry-standard tools such as Cadence, Synopsis, and Mentor Graphics to conduct thorough circuit analysis and digital design evaluations. The position demands a deep understanding of how these components operate and the ability to assess the effectiveness of commercially available tools used in the industry. The successful candidate will be expected to leverage their extensive experience with major industry players like AMD/Xilinx and Intel/Altera to provide insights and recommendations based on their analyses. This role is critical for ensuring that the organization remains at the forefront of technology by understanding the intricacies of the components that drive modern electronic systems.

Responsibilities

• Deconstruct and analyze FPGA, ASIC, and PCB components to understand their functionality.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of commercially available tools used for working with electronic devices.
• Conduct circuit analysis and digital design evaluations using industry-standard tools.
• Provide insights and recommendations based on analysis of integrated circuits and microelectronic components.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science degree or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 12 years of experience in integrated circuit or microelectronic component design or reverse engineering.
• Strong knowledge of ASIC design, FPGA design, and integrated circuit design.
• Experience with circuit analysis and digital design.
• Proficiency in using industry tools such as Cadence, Synopsis, and Mentor Graphics.
• Familiarity with AMD/Xilinx and Intel/Altera components.
