About the position

The Hardware Design Engineer will be a key member of the Engineering Department, specifically supporting the Chiller Applications Team. This role involves developing and maintaining control boards, designing circuits, and providing technical support to manufacturing teams. The ideal candidate will possess strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate effectively within a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain control boards using MPU/MCU and FPGA for chiller applications
• Design analog/digital interface and power supply circuits
• Perform worst-case circuit analysis to ensure reliability across environmental specifications
• Design and maintain PCBAs, including schematic and layout, using industry-standard tools
• Provide technical support to manufacturing teams and assist with product sustainment

Requirements

• BSEE or BSCE, or related field; minimum of 5 years of experience
• Strong understanding of MPU/MCU and circuit design tools (e.g., Mentor Graphics)
• Experience with PCB design and worst-case analysis techniques
• Familiarity with signal integrity tools and programmable logic (FPGA)
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced team environment
