About the position

The Hardware Design Engineer position at Marvin Test Solutions (MTS) is designed for an Electronic Engineer with approximately 3 years of experience in hardware design and product development. The role involves working on innovative test solutions for both commercial and military electronic systems, ensuring that the work is dynamic and engaging. The engineer will be responsible for various tasks including designing electronic schematics, overseeing PCB design, and testing prototypes to ensure compliance with design requirements.

Responsibilities

• Study if concepts for new products can be implemented with available components and known techniques to a predefined form, fit, function, cost, and schedule
• Develop Design Documents for new products based on feasibility studies or product requirements
• Design the electronic schematic diagram of the product
• Design or oversee the design of printed circuit board(s) for the product
• Test and debug prototypes, and verify compliance with design requirements
• Generate Bills Of Material and pricing sheets for designs
• Develop Test Requirements Documents for products
• Develop or support the development of manufacturing documents
• Additional tasks as assigned by supervisor

Requirements

• Electronics BSEE or higher degree or Equivalent
• 3+ years' experience in design of electronic circuits and PCBs
• Experience debugging prototypes using test equipment
• Prefer familiarity with Altium design environment
