About the position

The Hardware Design Engineer position involves the development of integrated circuits specifically for power supplies within the semiconductor technology industry. This role is targeted at mid to senior level candidates who possess a strong background in both digital and analog IC design, and it emphasizes the importance of simulation and layout verification.

Responsibilities

• IC Design mixed signal/analog and/or digital
• Simulation using Cadence tools
• Layout knowledge and verification
• Preparation of test plan
• Product characterization and bench evaluation
• Behavioral modeling of analog and mixed-mode circuits

Requirements

• BSEE Degree
• 5+ years of experience with emphasis on digital and/or analog IC design
• Experience in high voltage AC/DC switching power supplies is helpful
• Knowledge of Cadence simulation tools and Verilog
• CMOS experience
• Excellent communication skills with experience in spec creation, technical writing, and test plans and instructions.
