About the position

The Hardware Design Validation Engineer position at Capgemini involves the validation of complex hardware and printed circuit board assemblies (PCBAs), with a specific focus on power supply validation and interface validation. The role requires a Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, aerospace engineering, or a related field, along with a minimum of three years of experience in design validation. Candidates should have hands-on experience with power supply validation techniques, including linear and switching regulators, as well as interface validation for protocols such as I2C, SPI, and UART. Experience with high-speed interface validation is considered a plus. In this role, the engineer will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive test plans tailored for aerospace, automotive, or consumer electronics systems. This includes utilizing standard electronic lab test equipment such as oscilloscopes, signal analyzers, and electronic loads to ensure the reliability and performance of the hardware being tested. The engineer will also be expected to document test results, analyze data, and provide feedback for design improvements. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment. Familiarity with scripting or programming languages such as Python or LabVIEW is a plus, as is experience with power design and validation for various system-on-chip (SoC) architectures from leading manufacturers like Intel, AMD, Qualcomm, and NVIDIA. Capgemini emphasizes a commitment to diversity and inclusion, ensuring that all qualified applicants receive equal consideration for employment regardless of their background.
