About the position
The Hardware Development Engineer will lead multiple teams and projects focused on hardware development and system testing. This role involves architecting and designing embedded products while ensuring compliance with best practices and regulatory standards. The engineer will oversee the entire hardware development cycle, engage in high-level requirement analysis, and manage client relationships through regular project reviews.
Responsibilities
- Lead multiple teams and projects in hardware development & system testing.
- Architect and design embedded products, ensuring adherence to best practices.
- Oversee the full hardware development cycle, including validation and regulatory compliance.
- Develop high speed electronic products, employing novel approaches to complex problems.
- Engage in high-level requirement analysis discussions.
- Engage in in-depth DVT/Characterization testing of the high-speed products.
- Manage client relationships through regular project review calls.
Requirements
- Proven experience across all stages of Hardware Product Development Lifecycle.
- Familiarity with processors/FPGAs from Intel, AMD, Xilinx, etc.
- Expertise in high-speed board design, multi-layer board design, and signal integrity.
- Proficiency in high-speed designs, analog and mixed-signal design.
- Knowledge of interfaces like PCIe, Ethernet is advantageous.
- Experience in EMI/EMC compliance.
- Proficiency in tools like ORCAD, ALLEGRO, etc.
- Competency in using lab instruments like high-end oscilloscopes, function generators, logic analyzers, and VNAs.
