About the position

Micron Technology is seeking a Hardware Engineer 2 to join our team in Boise, Idaho. Our vision is to transform how the world uses information to enrich life for all. In this role, you will perform design and development engineering assignments related to hardware products and systems. This includes the development of new products or updates to existing products. You will be responsible for researching, evaluating, developing, and applying new processes and methods into our products. Additionally, you will establish and conduct testing routines, develop or execute project plans, budgets, and schedules, and document your work and results. The ideal candidate will possess a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field. You will need to demonstrate strong skills in CMOS design, as well as proficiency in design tools such as Cadence Spice, Virtuoso, and Verilog. Programming skills in Python and C++ are also required, along with a solid understanding of the DDR4 protocol and computer system architecture, particularly in memory hierarchy. Knowledge of semiconductor device physics, including layout and semiconductor fabrication, is essential for success in this position.
