Responsibilities

• Operate optical hardware prototypes, including PCB boards, electrical flexes, cameras, and LEDs.
• Utilize existing software tools by running command line scripts and graphical user interfaces, and maintain familiarity with on-demand servers.
• Perform basic software and hardware troubleshooting, including understanding command line scripts and restarting hardware as needed.
• Train moderators on the use of prototype devices.
• Drive to and from vendor sites for weekly checks on prototype devices.

Requirements

• Strong software skills.
• Experience with hardware prototyping.
• Basic software and hardware troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to operate optical hardware prototypes.
• Familiarity with running command line scripts and graphical user interfaces.
• Experience with on-demand servers.
• Software or electrical engineering degree.
