About the position

As a Hardware Engineer Intern at Viasat's Comsat Labs, you will engage in ASIC, FPGA, and Firmware development to support the company's communication infrastructure. Responsibilities

• Design and verify hardware components using HW Description Language (VHDL/Verilog/System Verilog).

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Experience with HW Description Language (VHDL/Verilog/System Verilog).
• Strong communication skills.
• US Citizenship required.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with ASIC or Programmable Logic design.
• Familiarity with satellite communications.
