The Hardware Engineer Intern will assist in the design, simulation, modeling, and testing of hardware security solutions. This role involves working with various tools such as SPICE simulator, Vivado, and Altium for PCB design, contributing to the development of secure hardware systems.

  • Design and simulate hardware security solutions.
  • Model and test hardware components.
  • Utilize SPICE simulator and Vivado for development tasks.
  • Engage in PCB design using Altium.
  • Collaborate with team members on hardware projects.
  • Junior, Senior, or Graduate Student pursuing a degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a relevant technical field.
  • Minimum GPA of 3.0, to be listed on the resume.
  • Classroom experience programming in VHDL, SystemVerilog, Verilog, Python, SPICE, C/C++, or Java.
  • Basic understanding of circuit theory and design.
  • Completed coursework related to electronics.
  • Ability to obtain a security clearance.
  • Good communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with FPGA development using HDL in a Vivado environment.
  • Experience with Linux operating systems.
  • Experience with analog/digital and PCB design.
  • Understanding of RF fundamentals and communication.
  • Experience with hardware testing for functionality or in a testbed.
  • Internship experience in a cutting-edge field.
