About the position

The Hardware Engineering Internship offers students the opportunity to work on real-world projects in collaboration with teams across the globe. Interns will design, develop, modify, and evaluate components used in electronic devices, focusing on mechanical systems and the manipulation of electricity. This role empowers interns to bring their solutions and ideas to life while working on cutting-edge technology, all within a culture that values respect, integrity, and accountability.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the creation of robust, scalable, secure, and extensible design and/or verification plans for hardware engineering aspects of well-defined products or features.
  • Read device specification sheets and interpret common details required to design and test various hardware features.
  • Ensure that test requirements are included in documentation and specifications for a feature or product.
  • Obtain input from functional experts regarding opportunities to affect downstream execution of projects by resolving issues and executing design trade-offs within scope.
  • Demonstrate a result-driven approach with strong attention to detail and technical problem-solving skills.
  • Strategically and creatively innovate ways to communicate and visualize user experience.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Must have at least one additional quarter/semester of school remaining following the completion of the internship.
