About the position

The position involves the development and certification of the Next Generation End Cryptographic Unit (ECU) and high assurance Cryptographic High Value Product (CHVP). The role focuses on designing, documenting, implementing, prototyping, and testing next-generation encryption devices on advanced digital circuit boards for Layer 3 In-line Network Encryptors.

Responsibilities

• Design, document, implement, prototype, and test next generation encryption devices.
• Develop and certify the Next Generation End Cryptographic Unit (ECU).
• Work on high assurance Cryptographic High Value Product (CHVP).
• Handle multiple tasks in parallel while prioritizing and being detail-oriented.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering.
• 8+ years of hardware design or sustaining experience.
• Foundational knowledge of analog and digital logic and timing considerations.
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of tasks and results.
• US citizenship and ability to obtain and maintain a SECRET security clearance.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work with a temporally and geographically diverse team.
• Familiarity with standard test equipment (i.e., oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzer, power supplies, etc.).
• Familiarity with production related processes and common failure modes.
