In this role, you will serve as the IPT lead for the JASSM-AGM158B Power Distribution Unit (PDU) effort. The PDU IPT Lead is responsible for the ongoing hardware and software development, qualification, integration, and coordination of the PDU into the JASSM/LRASM production lines. This position reports to the AGM-158D Chief Engineer and will provide day-to-day interface with both JASSM/LRASM Development Chief Engineering, Program Managers, fellow IPT Leads, production, and Program Office counterparts. You will be involved in all technical performance and risk reduction activities, including production transition phases, design upgrades, and various vehicle integrations. Your responsibilities will also include developing the technical data package for the PDU, overseeing Electrical, Electromagnetic Environmental Effects (E3), Thermal and Structural analysis, and working with Integration and Test, Planning, and Production counterparts to develop key delivery milestone roadmaps. You will lead requirements, design, integration, and analysis teams to develop specifications, drawings, test procedures, and verification plans. This position may also require oversight and support of suppliers who deliver JASSM/LRASM power supply subsystems. Domestic travel may be required, and candidates must be U.S. citizens with the ability to obtain a security clearance if not already held.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the JASSM-AGM158B Power Distribution Unit (PDU) effort as IPT lead.
  • Oversee ongoing hardware and software development, qualification, integration, and coordination of the PDU into the JASSM/LRASM production lines.
  • Manage all technical performance and risk reduction activities including production transition phases and design upgrades.
  • Develop the technical data package for the PDU.
  • Conduct Electrical, Electromagnetic Environmental Effects (E3), Thermal and Structural analysis.
  • Collaborate with Integration and Test, Planning, and Production counterparts to develop key delivery milestone roadmaps.
  • Lead requirements, design, integration, and analysis teams to develop specifications, drawings, test procedures, and verification plans.
  • Provide oversight and support of suppliers delivering JASSM/LRASM power supply subsystems.

Requirements

  • Engineering Degree (Mechanical or Electrical preferred).
  • Engineering Team leadership experience.

Nice-to-haves

  • IPT experience.
  • Cost Account Management (CAM) experience is a plus.
  • Production experience in manufacturing is a plus.
  • Customer/program leadership interface experience is a plus.
