About the position

The Hardware Engineer position involves designing and validating high-speed network interfaces and systems. The role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams and hands-on experience in board design and debugging, focusing on high-speed SERDES and network switches.

Responsibilities

• Design and validate high-speed network interfaces (10G/25G/100G/400G).
• Work on high-speed SERDES system design and address signal integrity issues.
• Collaborate with ODMs and overseas multi-functional teams.
• Interface with CAD, FPGA, Power, Mechanical, Signal Integrity, and Manufacturing teams.
• Conduct lab bring up and design validation.
• Perform board debug and failure analysis.

Requirements

• BSEE or BS in Computer/Electrical Engineering with 8+ years of related experience or MSEE with 6+ years of related experience.
• Experience with high-speed network interfaces (10G/25G/100G/400G).
• Hands-on experience with high-speed SERDES (>=25G) system design.
• Knowledge of signal integrity issues and power distribution techniques.
• Experience with network switches and routers.
• Demonstrated experience working with ODMs and overseas multi-functional teams.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Nice-to-haves

• Familiarity with design tools including Cadence Concept and Allegro.
