About the position

We are seeking a skilled Hardware Engineer to join our innovative and growing automation engineering and manufacturing company. As a full-service controls company, we specialize in designing, manufacturing, and commissioning automation systems across various sectors, including airport baggage handling, government, freight and parcel, and warehouse distribution markets. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in developing control systems tailored to meet the specifications of our diverse clientele. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on cutting-edge technology in a dynamic environment. In this role, you will be responsible for designing control systems for all vertical markets, ensuring that each design meets customer specifications. You will need to have a solid understanding of UL508A and NEC standards, as well as the ability to read and implement designs based on customer requirements. The position requires a proactive approach, as you will be expected to develop designs with minimal supervision, particularly for MCPs that have been previously designed. Additionally, you will provide support to our Supply Chain and Panel shop, ensuring that all components are aligned with the overall project goals. Responsibilities

  • Design control systems for various vertical markets.
  • Read, understand, and implement designs based on customer specifications.
  • Develop designs with minimal supervision for previously designed MCPs.
  • Provide support for Supply Chain and Panel shop operations.

Requirements

  • A.S. in Electrical Engineering minimum or B.S. in Electrical Engineering preferred.
  • Equivalent experience in lieu of a degree will be considered.
  • Basic understanding of UL508A and NEC standards.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD Electrical or ePlan is a plus.
