About the position

As a Hardware Engineer at Broadcom, you will be responsible for evaluating and validating various designs, including CMOS/SOI, Analog, RF, and digital designs. Your role will involve extensive data collection and analysis for new designs, ensuring that the functionality of these designs meets the required specifications. You will specifically focus on evaluating Power Amplifier (PA) designs, proposing new PA architectures for next-generation products, and ensuring that module sizes are reduced compared to previous versions without degrading performance. In addition to design evaluation, you will conduct PAD simulations to estimate performance degradation when applying the shrunken architecture. You will also be tasked with adding new function blocks in PAD and performing co-simulations to check feasibility and analyze potential upsides and downsides. PCB design will be a critical part of your responsibilities, as you will evaluate new epitaxial processes and device structures based on simulation and evaluation data. Your work will also involve studying 5G specifications to develop a comprehensive PAD strategy that aligns with industry standards and future technology needs.
