About the position

As a Hardware Engineer at eInfochips Inc., you will play a crucial role in the development of hardware for home appliance products. This position requires you to gather requirements through effective coordination with cross-functional teams, ensuring that all aspects of the product design meet the necessary specifications. You will be responsible for performing mixed signal circuit design, capturing schematics, and designing PCB layouts. Your expertise will be essential in testing these designs to ensure they function as intended. A significant part of your role will involve reducing product costs through careful component selection and optimizing the Bill of Materials (BOM). You will utilize electrical circuit simulation tools, such as PSPICE, to aid in this process. Collaboration is key, as you will work closely with PCBA suppliers and manufacturing partners to execute prototype assembly, conduct board bring-up testing, and perform debugging and functional verification of the hardware. In addition to design and testing, you will coordinate with the testing team to plan and schedule testing activities in the laboratory, ensuring that all products meet certification requirements. Your participation in technical design review meetings will be vital, where you will contribute to discussions and help create schedules and Gantt charts to track project timelines effectively.
