About the position

As a Data Center Engineering Program Manager (EPM) at Apple, you will be responsible for the planning and execution of early prototype vehicles, focusing on silicon reliability and software development. This role involves driving board design convergence, managing release schedules, and resolving technical build blockers through collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Drive the planning and execution of prototype builds.
• Collaborate with architecture and engineering teams to define hardware definitions based on validation goals.
• Support the overall project plan for builds globally.
• Lead development timelines for new boards and flexes.
• Manage the internal review process and release to vendors.
• Act as the primary point of contact for contract manufacturers and worldwide team members.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree
• 3+ years of project management or relevant experience
• Exceptional ability to build relationships and exert effective influence in a matrix organization.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Nice-to-haves

• Proven track record in hardware engineering or operations program management with experience in factory builds.
• Experience interfacing with Mechanical and Electrical Engineering teams.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Outstanding attention to detail and ability to handle complex build matrices and microschedules.
