About the position

The Hardware-in-the-loop Test Engineer role at Actalent involves working with robotic systems to ensure functionality and support for current architectures. The engineer will engage with various interfaces, document issues, and contribute to the design of next-generation systems, focusing on both support and improvement.

Responsibilities

• Get to know current architecture and start using it.
• Answer support requests across the company.
• Transition to autonomous support.
• Work hands-on with benches, ensuring functionality with tools like Multi Meters.
• Engage with interfaces such as radar and networking.
• Document issues and report to each team.
• Focus on support and improvement, followed by next-gen system design.

Requirements

• Experience with CAN.
• Exposure to Linux.
• Basic knowledge of C++ and Python, with the ability to modify code.
• Experience handling ECUs and sensors.
• Experience in testing hardware.
• Experience in designing benches or systems.
• Familiarity with sensors and autonomous systems.
• Knowledge of Lidar.
