About the position

The Hardware-in-the-Loop Test Support Engineer will be responsible for monitoring and troubleshooting propulsion hardware-in-the-loop (HITL) test capabilities as part of the Kuiper Propulsion Systems Engineering team. This role involves ensuring the functionality of test racks, resolving disruptions, and integrating new HITL test assets for internal customers within Project Kuiper.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and troubleshoot Propulsion hardware-in-the-loop (HITL) test capabilities.
• Ensure the status and functionality of test racks deployed in multiple HITL venues.
• Work with multiple stakeholder teams to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve disruptions in availability or bugs impacting recurring tests.
• Utilize existing design documentation to procure, build, commission, and integrate new HITL test assets.
• Collaborate with the Kuiper Propulsion engineering team and customer teams to support integrated vehicle HITL venues.
• Deliver on defined goals and schedules with guidance from Propulsion Systems Engineers.
