About the position

The Hardware Modules Integration Engineer plays a critical role in the engineering process, guiding projects through various engineering gateways and launch phases, from the initial pre-program stage all the way to the 'Ok to Buy' phase. This position serves as the on-site, single point of contact, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration between multiple teams including Design/Release, Program Management, Finance, Quality Assurance, Software Development, and various other stakeholders such as PMT's, STA, VO, and NML teams. The engineer will be responsible for coordinating efforts across these diverse groups to ensure that all aspects of the hardware modules are integrated effectively and meet the required specifications and timelines. In this role, the engineer will also be tasked with identifying potential issues early in the process and facilitating solutions to keep projects on track. This includes conducting regular meetings with team members, providing updates to management, and ensuring that all engineering documentation is accurate and up-to-date. The Hardware Modules Integration Engineer will need to possess strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure, as they will often be required to make quick decisions that impact the overall project timeline. Additionally, the engineer will be involved in the testing and validation of hardware modules, ensuring that they meet quality standards before they are approved for production. This will require a thorough understanding of both the technical aspects of hardware design and the business implications of project decisions. The successful candidate will be expected to contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the engineering process, leveraging their expertise to enhance efficiency and effectiveness across the board.
