The Hardware Penetration Tester at SSIT Inc. is responsible for conducting thorough hardware penetration testing and security assessments, particularly within the technology and network equipment sectors. Responsibilities
- Conduct hardware penetration testing and security assessments on various devices.
- Utilize hardware hacking tools such as JTAG, oscilloscopes, and logic analyzers.
- Reverse engineer firmware and analyze binary code for vulnerabilities.
- Evaluate cryptographic implementations and assess side-channel attack risks.
- Identify and document common hardware vulnerabilities in circuit board designs.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in hardware penetration testing or hardware security assessment.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of embedded systems and hardware design.
- Proficiency in using hardware hacking tools and reverse engineering firmware.
- Familiarity with cryptographic implementations and side-channel attacks.
Nice-to-haves
- Certifications such as CEH, OSCP, or Certified Hardware Security Professional.
