About the position

KODA Technologies is seeking a talented Hardware Reverse Engineer to join our team, focusing on reverse engineering hardware from various air and missile defense technologies. The role involves utilizing reverse engineering tools, preparing technical briefings, and conducting research to analyze system performance and vulnerabilities.

Responsibilities

• Reverse engineer hardware from various air and missile defense technologies.
• Utilize reverse engineering tools or develop custom tools to complete tasks.
• Prepare technical briefings and reports outlining the performance and vulnerabilities of systems.
• Conduct research involving static and dynamic analysis, including reverse engineering.

Requirements

• Electrical engineer, computer engineer, and/or physicist with at least five years of experience.
• Experience reverse-engineering or designing radars, antennas, autopilots, inertial sensors, and/or missile seekers/sensors.
• Experience with RF receiver design/analysis, electronics design, radar signal processing/analysis, RF test equipment, and/or computer architecture design/analysis.
• Experience programming with C/C++, Python, MATLAB, or similar software languages.
• A strong interest in solving technical 'puzzles' in hardware, software, and firmware reverse engineering.
• Active TS/SCI w/Polygraph or Top Secret with the ability to obtain SCI and pass a CI Polygraph.

Nice-to-haves

• FPGA/CPLD or other digital design experience is a plus.
• Missile sensor, radar, RF, and/or EO/IR test experience is a plus.
• A desire to work both hardware and software reverse-engineering tasks is a plus.
