About the position

The Hardware/RF & DSP Design Engineer will be a key member of the Engineering Design Team at EDT, Inc., focusing on the development of innovative RF and DSP solutions. This role involves leading the design and implementation of software-defined radios (SDR) and signal processing systems, particularly for applications in AI, scientific research, UAVs, industrial sectors, and defense.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years in RF and DSP design with an emphasis on Software Defined Radios (SDR).
• Ability to initiate and configure digital signals and develop signal processing systems and algorithms.
• FPGA based SDR (software defined radio) design experience.
• Expertise with schematic capture, layout, component library development, and bill of material creation; preferably with Altium Designer.
• Experience in laying out mixed signal PCB's or directing PCB layout.
• Ability to bring up and debug electronics and system level issues; with expertise solving issues such as data throughput, grounding, and thermal management.
• Experience in EW, SIGINT or satellite COMMs applications a plus.
• Experience with C/C++, Python.
